I have been a global traveler for both work and leisure over the last 3 decades. I have mastered the art of living out of a small carry-on bag and my trusty backpack for weeks at a time. My experience has taught me that planning and research is key. My ability to efficiently pack, prep and research has led me to now enjoy the Van life with my husband on the weekends, exploring most of the Midwest and gulf coast by Sprinter Van. When not in the van, we’re at a Disney park or planning a cruise!

I am also a mom of two boys and we are all avid Disney Fans. I recently completed visiting all the Disney theme parks worldwide with my favorite ride being Pirates of the Caribbean in Shanghai. Planning ahead was key when I decided I wanted to visit all of the Disney theme parks from picking where to stay, dining reservations and what rides to ride and when.

As a family we all enjoy cruising, it’s our favorite thing to do together and with two teenage boys finding activities that check off all the boxes requires some dedication. My family and I were part of the maiden voyage of the Disney Wish. We loved the experience and getting to be a part of Disney history. As a family we enjoy researching different destinations which then help us choose our ship and our itinerary. We’ve learned that the ship can be just as much a destination as the ports of call. We have been on all of the Disney ships and have traveled heavily to the Caribbean; Grand Cayman is one of our favorite destinations. As the official family activities director I was able to find various activities for everyone, which isn’t easy with multiple tastes and preferences but swimming with the stingrays was a hit with everyone! The entire family still talks about it to this very day.

My latest Disney adventure has been being the admin for our voyage’s Facebook group organizing fish extenders, pin trading, magnet exchanges and more. I also love to answer questions from first time cruisers, even taking phone calls, to help them get the most out of their Disney cruise. Our next adventure will be enjoying all of the Disney Cruise line relocation sailings across the Atlantic and through the Panama Canal.

When not making sure my boys stay on track in school and sports, I am an active runner and have enjoyed running in the themed Disney Half Marathon weekends including completing a few Challenges (Half and 10K back to back). I even sacrificed a treadmill to participate in a remote Disney Half Marathon weekend during the CV-19 Pandemic.
